NEWS
As I write this, there's a man cutting a hole in the ceiling not three metres away. In other news, I'm nearly completely finished working on the next four strips, so I'm going to have some spare time. Whatever shall I do with it? Probably draw more, I guess.

HISTORY
These are the leaders of Venice, elected or otherwise. The position of archmage is largly self-awarded, while archbishops are appointed by the Church in a top-down fashion; Libero leads a large number of soldiers, and Guiseppi was actually voted for by the other rich merchants of the city. They in turn elected il Duce as their leader, thus creating a glorious democracy. It's not as though things are any better today.

On a side note, archbishop and duke are roughly the same rank. A cardinal, one step up from the archbishop, is ranked alongside a prince. An archmage, on the other hand, has no rank beyond being able to incinerate you with a word, which (all things considered) is pretty high.

ART
I hates JPG compression, I really does. And you do too. But most of the detail made it through; you're just missing out on the rough weave of the draperies and some of the more sparkly cloth-of-gold. Unfortunately, I can't really justify putting up truly detailed files, because server space is still valuable and I'm getting it for free.

However, if I get popular enough, I'll consider producing graphic novel compilations of this stuff in glorious high detail. Sure, they'd be costly, but I can justify that if enough people are interested. So everybody, tell someone else to read Dungeon Damage, and you'll reap the rewards. (If rewards means buying cool stuff, I suppose.)
