 I am doing many exciting things that are all very tenuous right now, so I will say no more. Hopefully, I'll be able to say a little more in the next few days. Oh, and I got Age Of Empires free with a box of cereal. Yay me. HISTORY You'll notice that the cathedral is unfinished. That's not surprising; a proper cathedral always takes centuries to complete, employing multiple generations of workers and artisans. This cathedral is actually in use; churchgoers have never let a little thing like scaffolding and plaster dust upon the air stop them (or at least it didn't stop us when they earthquake-proofed out cathedral here in Wellington). ART I like the shadows on the cathedral floor. They took a little doing, but they came out OK. The rest of it pleases me too. (Steeples fingers.) I don't even hate the JPG compression! Obviously using more filters was a good move, because now you can see them. GAME This bit happened first, but I'm screening it later because it cuts something like eight pages from the plot summary. (I did a plot summary, even though I know precisely how it turns out.) My motto is, "Get to the good bits". In this case, the good bits are Cat in a stupid dress. Oh, we laughed when I showed it to the players! And in case you hadn't guessed, she's much more comfortable in what you see at the end of this strip, rather than the beginning, which she views as, well, stupid. Cat's very good at not liking things. |
